Monroe County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or pull official booking records. For an official answer, contact the agency or court that holds the record.
Choose the Right Monroe Office
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office operates the Monroe County Jail, also called the Monroe County Detention Center. Its Records unit is the starting point for a focused open-records request, while the jail line handles jail-specific questions. No general public office hours are published in the cited materials, so call before an in-person visit.

For records, use the MCSO online request form or the office's records policy. MCSO says it acknowledges a request within three business days, then provides the record or an estimate of time and cost. The first 15 minutes of research are free. Lawful labor, materials, and postage can add cost. Do not prepay; the office sends an invoice before release.
The ordinary MCSO workflow excludes mug shots, jail status, warrant information, court documents, and court dispositions. Call Records before asking about a booking photograph because the public roster has no face images and the sheriff's local photo policy controls what may be available.
Use the following routes for the question at hand:
- For a Monroe booking entry, recent arrest, or booking record, use the county search page and then the current, 24-hour, or date-range InteropWeb view. For a photo, ask MCSO Records first rather than assuming one is posted.
- For a possible warrant or court case, use the Most Wanted Fugitives page for the safe check path. No public Monroe warrant portal was located. Court Services can route a question, but counsel or the appropriate clerk should handle a matter affecting a person directly.
- For a person just booked or already released, the county roster and booking feeds are different tools. For custody notifications, use Georgia VINE; it is a notification service, not a guilt index.
- For a Forsyth Police Department incident, contact FPD at 200 S. Kimbell Street, Forsyth, GA 31029, (478) 993-1005, and use its open-records request form. The form allows mail, fax, or in-person submission, gives a three-business-day response window, and notes possible retrieval, employee, certification, and copy charges, including a $10 USB charge for video. It does not set a fixed paper rate.
- For a state-sentenced person, use the Georgia Department of Corrections offender search or its open-records page. GDC custody is separate from Monroe County Jail custody.
- For a federal or immigration detainee, use the Bureau of Prisons locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator. Neither is a Monroe County jail roster.
- For an emergency or immediate safety threat, call 911. A roster, email, or social account is not an emergency channel.
Forsyth has the county's only municipal police department found in the research. Culloden has no municipal police feed or city arrest log, so Culloden-area booking questions go to MCSO and the countywide InteropWeb records. A court disposition belongs with the relevant Monroe County clerk or court, not with this private reference site.
